As an avid animal lover, the Endangered Collection is straight from my heart. While some progress has been made through conservation efforts, it saddens me to know that the list of animals that need protection has continued to grow despite education and conservation efforts.
The Amur leopard is on the critically endangered list, they are typically found along the border of Russia and North Eastern China. Efforts against poaching have most likely saved them from going completely extinct, as of 2023 it was estimated that there were under 40 of them left in the world. The saddest part is that these cats are not aggressive towards humans which may make them easier targets.
A percentage of the sales from this collection will be donated to various wildlife rescues. In the future, I plan on offering prints for sale to further my goal of helping these beautiful and innocent creatures.
The work is created on heavy 11x14" Canson paper. Acrylic paint, prints from my photos and some spray paint.
The sample photos of the work in the room, show the work exactly how it looks framed.
The work will be shipped in a heavy envelope.
