This paper mosaic was created from a photo that I found on the Gowanus Canal Conservancy's website. The Gowanus faces so much notoriety and rightly so, it is a designated Superfund after all. But behind the scenes there are dedicated people belonging to groups that have helped in bringing life back around the canal. This work was made for an exhibition that I was part of at The Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse in July of 2025. I believe in the mission of GCC and will be contributing 50% of the proceeds of this sale to them.

The work is made from scraps of my prints. If you look closely you'll see windows as well as graffiti & glass. The work is set inside a 7.5"x7.5" mat inside a 13x13x.50" frame. A print of the photo used for reference is included.
